Matchday
Welcome to Harrogate RUFC
A very warm welcome to Harrogate Rugby Club. A particular welcome to our visitors today, Darlington Mowden Park, and all their supporters who have made the journey.
Good luck to the Georgians, away at Wharfedale today. The step up from merit tables to league rugby has been tough, and thanks go to the coaching team — especially Charlie and Tom — for managing to get a team out every single week. The progress they’re making against tough first-team opposition was clear to see last week, and hopefully taking on the Foresters gets them closer to that first win.
Last week we held our public consultation on the clubhouse development and padel courts, and received some valuable feedback and positive comments from residents and members. We’ve also had the green light from the Football Foundation to fund the 3G pitch, in partnership with Harrogate Railway Juniors, and we’re working closely with the RFU to make sure we maximise this opportunity for the needs of all our members and the wider rugby community.
Have a great day and come on the Gate.
