Matchday
Welcome to Harrogate RUFC
Welcome to Harrogate Rugby Club, and a warm welcome to our visitors from Hull Ionians and Beverley.
Today is a big day for the club. It’s the first time in some years that we’ve hosted two league matches at Harrogate on the same day, and this time without the need to create a club within a club.
We’re very proud to have secured league rugby for the Georgians in Yorkshire 2. Well done to the coaches and management for making this happen.
Last week was a tough day for the Aces. Not for me, I was relaxing at the last cricket game of the season! I’m sure the team will learn from the experience and put it into practice against Hull Ionians today.
Have a great day and come on the Gate.
Mike Cowling's Former Players
Welcome to all the old boys from Harrogate and Hull Ionians.
Can you spot our commercial chairman and his “interesting” hairstyle?
Amrit — 50 Caps
50 caps for Harrogate’s very own speed merchant.
A winger who needs very little invitation to get on the front foot and take the game to the opposition. Amrit’s ability to find a gap, beat a man and get over the line has made him a constant threat out wide.
Always happy to take the ball in hand and swing for the boundary, he’s racked up the tries over the last few seasons.
Amrit certainly likes to put his own spin on things and create havoc for defences!
50 appearances, plenty of runs on the board and still plenty left in the tank!
