Dear Friends, Supporters, and Rugby Fans,
Good afternoon, and welcome to Harrogate Rugby Club for this Regional 1 North East home game against Blydon RFC.
There is no question that dropping 3 points with a loss away to Penrith was not in the script. But it is a stark reminder that we it isn’t our script to write. Every team we face in this league has a say in what we are trying to achieve, and they want us to lose. So as we head into today’s game against Blaydon, I believe we do so as a more humble, more focused and better team.
It is a pleasure to welcome Blaydon to the Apollo Capital Stadium again. They do a fantastic job representing Rugby Union in Newcastle, surrounded by a sea of round footballers. I’m sure today’s game will entertain.
