Welcome to Harrogate Rugby Club...
Dear Friends, Supporters, and Rugby Fans,
Good afternoon, and welcome to Harrogate Rugby Club for this Regional 1 North East home game against Alnwick RFC.
“This league will not be easy”, that was the prevailing message we told ourselves, and anyone else who would listen! And we were right, this league is far from easy…Good! If we are going to achieve our ultimate aim of returning to National League Rugby and staying there, we will need to earn it.
Against Blaydon we earnt it, and against Cleckheaton we earnt it, and I am sure that Alnwick will make us earn it today!
Around the club, everyone is putting in the work. Our Women’s team has kicked off their league endeavours, and our juniors, from the U7S up to the Colts, are causing the chaos we have come to love.
Lastly, a quick reminder about our annual AGM, which is coming up in October: while it is open to all, paid members are required to attend to ensure it is a meaningful process – and, spoiler alert, there might be some interesting news we can share with you all on the day.
