We’re pleased to share the success of the Harrogate Foundation Schools Tag Rugby Festival, where six schools participated in a round-robin festival style tournament. The event provided an opportunity for year 5 and 6 pupils to try their hand at rugby and engage in a day of friendly competition.

The festival capped off a fantastic term of weekly tag-rugby sessions for the children, and rounded was the perfect way to round off their introduction to rugby. Throughout the day, everyone enjoyed playing the game, emphasizing the importance of physical activity and teamwork.

We appreciate the efforts of all the schools, students, teachers, and organizers who contributed to the event’s success. The festival was a positive experience for everyone involved, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle for everyone involved.

Next year the event will be even bigger and better! With more schools getting involved and the event being backed by our Foundation sponsor Harrogate College.
